Over the course of the summer, I have been exploring several new technological ideas to incorporate in the classroom.  Along with the regular student blog, the Wiki looks interesting as do video streaming and podcasting. 

 I know that I have so much to learn about the Wiki and particularly podcasting, but I am willing to give it a try!  If it benefits my students, I am always willing to step outside of the box and enhance my teaching skills.

Summer is here and my brain is finally gearing up for next school year!  It is so funny how we all teachers and students alike) are ready for school to get out in May. However, some teachers (nerds) like me, start working on next year's goals, lessons, and activities.

 I truly enjoyed all of my classes and students this past school year and cannot wait until I meet the Class of 2013 in August!

 Have a great summer and don't forget to pick up a good book!

Hey everyone!

 Here are a couple of pointers for you to utilize when posting assignments on your blog. 

1.  You can do a spell check and grammar check on Microsoft Word and then cut and paste to your entry page.

2.  Read what you type before publishing it!

3.  Take my suggestions if I give you any (in my comment) and re publish your assignment!
